Breeding for Quality & Character
CALM, WELL-SOCIALISED, &
STRUCTIALLY CORRECT LIVESTOCK
We are committed to the ethical breeding of Highland cattle and miniature goats, prioritising outstanding temperament, handling, and socialisation. Whether you are in search of a cherished pet, a show quality animal, or a valuable addition to your breeding program, our focus is on producing livestock that exemplifies both exceptional character and conformation.
In our pursuit of enhancing genetic diversity within Western Australia, we adhere to traditional Highland breed standards while ensuring structural integrity and excellence in every generation.
Located in Bullsbrook, WA, Scotchwood Farm began as a passion project. What started with a few pet Highland cows, miniature goats, and chickens quickly grew into something more—we fell in love with these incredible animals and the lifestyle they brought.
After taking a break from my nursing career when we moved here, I realised that my heart was truly in the farm. Over a year later, we made the decision to grow Scotchwood Farm into a business, sharing the joy of raising well-socialised, trusting animals. Our goal is to help others experience the same bond we have with our Highland cattle and goats—animals that become not just livestock, but cherished members of the family.
WHY CHOOSE US?
We are dedicated ethical breeders, deeply committed to the lifelong welfare of our animals and to providing ongoing support to their new owners.
Our focus extends beyond breeding; we offer continuous education and training designed to empower you to interact confidently with your animals. Our breeding program emphasises early socialisation and training, ensuring that you can cultivate a rewarding, lifelong relationship with your pet cow or goat.
While structure, conformation, and breed characteristics are certainly important, we place the highest priority on temperament. After all, a beautiful animal is of little value if it cannot be approached or engaged with.
